Sigh...

it was that sad sigh that made the day drag on, the exhalation of life wasting away in a cubicle, the overwhelming amount of case files, never ceasing, never a chance to relax, to breathe any other sort of breath besides that long sad sigh, the soul escaping through dazed eyes and wandering fingers, typing words that add up to negatives, debt and debtors owing child support. they used to want to be astronauts and baseball players, now they sulked in their chairs and faced the reality of an existence that didn't effect anyone or anything, living between the hours of 5-12, waking in the morning trudge back into their stalls of normality, the saddistic dance of the cubicle cronies, small talk and potlucks, memos and meetings, empty vestibles of humanity, drones trapped in routine and complacency, two 15's and a half hour lunch, recess for the pain, escaping the darkened carcass of serving civilians and state work
